Blaze Credit Union is seeking for a Mortgage Processing Assistant at our St Paul branch. As a Mortgage Processing Assistant, you will serve a multi-skilled role involving processing and assigning originated mortgage applications.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Review Initial Disclosure pipeline daily and complete Initial Disclosure assignment.
• Pull appraisal fees from core system and upload receipts to files.
• Assist Mortgage Processors with internal document requests.
• Manage new membership requests as received from Mortgage Processor.
• Scan and upload incoming docs from members to loan processing system.
• Calling insurance companies to update insurance binders.
• Manage incoming faxes and emails then forward as appropriate to Mortgage Processor.
• Complete and send loan cancellation reports to 3^rd party vendors.

Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses

• High School degree or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year similar or related financial experience.

Demonstrated Knowledge

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Encompass is preferred.
